Wedding Vows Are the Heart of Your Wedding Ceremony

Getting married means making a commitment to share your lives together through thick and thin. Each union is different, so why not make your wedding day even more special by saying wedding vows that were custom-written for your wedding? By saying your own wedding vows you can include things that are important to you and your beloved.

It is not uncommon for there to be children involved when people get married. To make your day extra special for the whole family, why not write wedding vows including children. Your children will always be part of your life and your marriage, so it only seems right to include them on this special day. You each may have children from previous relationships and blending families takes patience, consideration, understanding and a lot of love. Depending on the age of your children, you may want to include them as your bridal attendants or groomsmen, or if they are younger children include them as your flower girl or ring bearer. No matter their age, it would be nice to give them an extra part in the ceremony, including the vows, that reminds them of how special they are to you both.

When writing your wedding vows, you and your beloved may have already discussed what you would like to say, but do take some time to put your thoughts and feeling on paper. You might find places on the Internet with sample wedding vows or even free wedding vows and these may be adjusted to suit your needs. Your minister or wedding coordinator might be able to offer you suggestions for writing your own wedding vows as well. Wedding ebooks are also available online and can be extremely helpful when it comes to making your wedding day perfect.

Wedding planning takes time. You want to make sure everything is as personalized as possible by deciding on the best venue available for your wedding and the reception. You will most likely spend a lot of time on the visual aspects of your wedding such as your dress, your bridesmaids' dresses, decide on flowers, choose a photographer, choose a wedding cake, select the perfect music, and the list goes on and on! A wedding should appeal to all the senses, and that takes time to coordinate.

Deciding on your wedding vows should definitely be a part of your wedding planning. After all, both of your families and your friends have gathered together with you to share in your special occasion. You both should say what comes from the heart and your mind and say it in a way that makes your wedding day a day for everyone to remember.

When a couple decides to get married, there is one thing for certain, and that is that they are unique in their expectations, visions, and desires as to what they bring to and what they want from the relationship. Because of that, it only goes to reason that writing your own special wedding vows makes perfect sense.
